Job Title: Guest Service Agent


Job Description

This is a full-time role that would suit a candidate with previous experience working in the hotel or hospitality industry. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.

Daily Activities:

">
">
* Assist guests with their queries and requests, providing solutions to any problems they may encounter.
">
* Communicate effectively with the team and other departments to maintain good relations and improve team engagement.
">
* Champion the arrival experience of the hotel, greeting all guests and offering appropriate greetings to recognize regular guests and IHG Rewards Club members.
">
* Handle guests' complaints and provide service recovery when applicable, referring problems to the Duty Manager when assistance is required.
">
* Process check-in/check-out functions, including general cashiering and processing of guest accounts.
">
* Be knowledgeable about the hotel and surroundings to make thoughtful recommendations to our guests.
">
* Use safety equipment and materials as directed or as required in safety procedures.
">
* Be knowledgeable about the hotel's product offerings to effectively explain to guests.
">

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent personal presentation and positive energy, proven skills in guest relations, problem-solving, and time management, ideally with knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Opera.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
">
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
">
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
">
* Knowledge of hotel operations and services.
">
* Flexibility to work AM and PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
