Senior 2D Layout Designer
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior 2D Layout Designer to join our team in Ascot, WA. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing plant layout design for mineral processing and bulk material handling projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a range of significant developments, contributing your expertise to deliver high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare plant layouts and detailed drawings to meet project requirements.
* Review vendor drawings and design data.
* Provide technical and design assistance in consultation with senior designers and engineers.
* Ensure high levels of accuracy and quality in all design documentation.
* Collaborate with relevant personnel to produce coordinated, multi-discipline designs.
About You
* Minimum 10 years' design experience, ideally within mineral processing and bulk materials handling.
* Advanced Diploma of Engineering, or equivalent.
* Proficiency in CAD systems (AutoCAD preferred).
* Knowledge of Solid Edge is desirable (training provided).
* Strong understanding of current design and drafting standards.
* Familiarity with EPC and EPCM project environments.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Full and unrestricted Australian work rights.
