This is a full-time position as our Bird & Reptile Department Supervisor. You will report to store management daily to ensure the smooth operation of your department. You must also be available to work within a 7-day roster which will include weekends and public holidays. Some specific responsibilities will include:
- Managing and training a small team within a large pet store environment
- Communicating effectively and motivating your team
- Using your strong computer skills
- Maintaining the welfare of all animals in the department
- Maintaining good stock control for the department
- Demonstrating superior customer service skills
- Being self-motivated and having the ability to work under pressure
