Lead Architect Position
We are seeking an exceptional Lead Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of sustainable building solutions. As a senior member of our design team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing architectural designs for modular buildings.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects in residential or commercial construction, with a deep understanding of sustainable design principles and green building practices. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends and advancements, incorporating them into your design strategies to meet client expectations.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals
* Develop comprehensive architectural designs for modular buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations
* Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using CAD software
* Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual design to construction completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints
* Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility, monitor construction progress, and provide on-site guidance to contractors
* Evaluate and select appropriate building materials, finishes, and systems to achieve sustainability objectives
* Stay updated on the latest architectural trends, advancements, and best practices, and incorporate them into design strategies
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
* Valid registration as an Architect with the relevant licensing board (preferred)
* Proven experience as an Architect, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects in residential or commercial construction
* Proficiency in CAD software, Vectorworks, and other architectural design tools
* Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Deep understanding of sustainable design principles and green building practices
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients
