About Vapiano: Vapiano operates venues across Victoria, NSW, and QLD, and we are continuing to expand with two new venues set to open this year. This growth offers our people a fantastic opportunity to develop their careers within the venues they work, as well as the potential to move into other locations as opportunities arise. Many of our head office roles are currently filled by team members who started with us at the ground level as staff or shift supervisors and worked their way up.
Role Expectations: As a valued member of the Kitchen Team at Vapiano, your primary focus will be to prepare fresh, high-quality dishes while delivering an engaging and enjoyable guest experience. You'll play a key role in maintaining the heart of our open kitchen, bringing energy, precision, and passion to every shift.
You'll be responsible for following recipes, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and food safety at all times. At Vapiano, our chefs are not hidden in the back — you'll often interact directly with guests, so confidence, friendliness, and professionalism are just as important as your cooking skills.
This role includes the core responsibilities expected in a high-paced kitchen environment, and we'll go into more detail about specific expectations and training during the interview and onboarding process.
