Millers' Local Bakehouse is looking for a new casual delivery driver/warehouse assistant, to start ASAP. You should be available to work approx 1-3 shifts per week between Wed - Sun.
Start date: ASAP
Hours: Shifts vary, but are generally 4-6.5 hours, starting from as early as 5am at the North Wollongong Warehouse. Deliveries run Wed - Sun.
Rate: $33.19/hour + super & additional loadings as applicable under General Retail Award.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Packing & delivering orders for our wholesale customers & stock for our retail stores
* Loading & unloading the van, practicing safe and correct manual handling procedures
* Following a run route & delivery schedule, and making sure items are delivered in their original condition
* Cleaning and maintaining vehicle/s
* Assisting with additional warehouse duties as needed (eg. errands/pickups, tidying/organising, prepping for the following day)
Ideal candidates will:
* Hold a full Australian driver's licence with a good driving record (over 25 preferred), and be comfortable driving a van (small). Ideally you'd have a good knowledge of the local area/roads
* Have full working rights in Australia
* Be available for weekends and early starts
* Have strong organisational, communication and time management skills
* Have the ability to work both independently and within a fast paced team environment
* Be reliable, punctual and efficient in your work
* Be physically fit with the ability to load and unload within safety guidelines
