Henderson/Naval Base location
40 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
**Responsibilities**:
Ensuring appropriate company supplied PPE is worn and undamaged to complete the task
Providing visible leadership across the site to drive team performance and support a 'safety first' culture
Leading Zero Harm through reviews of safety performance, identifying corrective actions, addressing poor safety behaviours and reinforcing positive safety behaviours
Ensuring JHA's are reviewed, amended, understood and signed by all employees with the completion of each individual's Take 5's
Conduct regular inspections and participate in incident investigations
Managing work packs ensuring trades people have the materials, tooling and information they require in order to complete assigned tasks
Monitor performance of trades against the work scope, as identified by the Supervisor, and provide constructive feedback on performance as required
Assist with toolbox and pre-start meetings, ensuring safety, work scope and quality goals are clearly communicated and understood by the team
**Requirements**:
Applicable Australian Recognised Trade Certificate and/or W.A Electrical Licence
Marine and/or Defence experience (desirable)
Previous experience leading teams with demonstrable leadership skills
Previous experience coaching, mentoring and training team members
Ability to motivate and influence others
Proven ability to read and understand technical drawings
Previous experience managing non-conformance and corrective actions
Previous experience with resource planning, scheduling, cost controls and meeting deadlines
Ability to promote a safe working environment with the aim for zero harm

A Defence security clearance is required for these roles. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
