Therapy Assistant Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapy Assistant to provide mobility and exercise programs, recreational activities, and support the planning of therapy programs for our residents.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing individualized mobility and exercise plans under the direction of the Physiotherapist
* Delivering therapeutic activity programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist
* Participating in the organization and planning of therapy programs
* Accompanying residents on outings and providing personalized care and support
To succeed in this role, you will require:
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* A Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or higher
* Experience in a similar role, preferably in aged care
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
