The Transport and Main Roads Program Delivery and Operations (PDO) Central Queensland Region manages 9,076 km of roads and contributes to the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP). Covering approximately 605,000 km², the region features coastal areas, rainforests, and rugged outback, with a population of about 422,141 residents.

Responsibilities
* Research and prepare high-quality written content for briefing notes and correspondence for stakeholders and the community.
* Develop community engagement plans for QTRIP projects, including messaging and communication strategies.
* Create communication materials such as media releases, newsletters, flyers, and display materials for the Minister's Office and management.
* Respond to media inquiries and draft media releases.
* Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
* Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of project data and correspondence.
Applications remain current for 12 months.
