About The Role
Operating within the National School of Nursing, Midwifery & Paramedicine, the role of the Professor (Nursing) will provide benchmarking leadership and make outstanding and original contributions to research, scholarship and teaching in the Discipline, whilst also enhancing the student experience. The Professor in Nursing is expected to:
* Make outstanding contribution to the governance and collegial life inside and outside the University
* Build relationships with external organisations and communities
* Provide leadership and make significant contributions to the development, implementation and accreditation of the national curricula for Nursing
We are looking for an academic who has and will continue to make original and innovative contributions to the advancement of scholarship, research and Nursing education in the Discipline of Nursing.

* Total remuneration valued to $260,037 (pro rata) pa, including salary component $220,723 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level E Increment 1), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
* Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
