Overview
The Night Fleet Detailer / Operations Support plays a vital role in ensuring Pinnacle Travel Group's vehicles, depots, and facilities maintain the highest presentation and safety standards. This is a hands‐on position leading the overnight vehicle cleaning and detailing team, ensuring all vehicles and facilities are prepared for service the following day. This position will also entail additional duties of after‐hours operational and client support, ensuring smooth overnight operations across all Pinnacle brands.
We currently have one after-hours position available:
(Wed–Sun, 8:00pm–5:30am)
Weekdays focused on vehicle detailing
Weekends include a balance of detailing, leading, and operations support
Part Time 4-day weeks can be considered on a case-by‐case basis.
Responsibilities
1. Cleaning & Presentation (Approx. 80%)
* Lead and support the night cleaning team to consistently achieve premium presentation standards.
* Allocate tasks, manage rosters, and provide coaching or corrective feedback.
* Conduct nightly inspections to ensure vehicles are spotless, stocked, and service‐ready.
* Manage stock levels: cleaning supplies, consumables, and fuel cards.
* Maintain depot cleanliness including offices, amenities, and workshop areas.
* Record task completion, report vehicle damage, and elevate maintenance needs.
2. Operations Support (Approx. 20%)
* Be the first point of contact for drivers or clients requiring after‐hours assistance.
* Support drivers with vehicle swaps, route queries, and late‐night departures.
* Monitor all overnight fleet movements and ensure vehicles are secure and positioned for the next day.
* Communicate key updates or incidents to the day Operations Team for seamless handover.
* Assist with administration: logs, refuelling records, and cleaning schedules.
* Provide hands‐on supervision while fostering a culture of pride, teamwork, and accountability.
* Train new team members and ensure adherence to safety and cleaning protocols.
* Conduct nightly safety checks and report hazards or security concerns.
* Work closely with Workshop and Operations teams to align priorities.
* Provide a detailed handover to the AM Operations Coordinator each shift.
* Support major events, large group movements, or peak operations as required.
What You'll Bring
* Experience in operations, fleet cleaning, detailing supervision, or similar roles.
* Familiarity with transport management systems (e.g., Coach Manager) advantageous.
* Strong understanding of fatigue management, safety compliance, and cleaning standards.
* Experience leading small teams or night operations highly regarded.
