About The Gastroenterology Ward
Birdsey Wing 7 is a 16‑bed ward specialising in gastroenterology and general medicine. The ward is located at University Hospital Geelong in the heart of central Geelong, minutes from the waterfront.
Responsibilities
* Deliver consumer‑centred care that meets best‑practice standards and aligns with Barwon Health requirements.
* Provide quality patient care using an evidence‑based approach.
* Participate in regular audit processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory bodies.
* Take a leadership role in strategic and daily issues with well‑developed problem‑solving abilities.
* Model sound nursing skills and demonstrate clinical competence.
* Support a cohesive team with effective collaboration.
