Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a trade-qualified and experienced
Heavy Duty Fitter
to join our Mobile Equipment Maintenance team on a
2 weeks on / 2 weeks off FIFO roster
. You'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of
XCMG and CAT
mobile plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and component changeouts.
* Diagnose faults and complete inspections on heavy mobile equipment.
* Maintain service records in line with site maintenance systems.
* Work closely with the Leading Hand and Supervisors to ensure equipment availability.
* Raising Work requests as and when required to ensure plant reliability.
Qualifications And Experience
* Relevant Trade Certificate in Heavy Diesel or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Trades Person.
* Knowledge and versatility across a variety of equipment.
* Light vehicle exposure and experience.
* Basic welding skills would be advantageous.
* Adaptability is essential to the success of the position.
* Current WA Manual Drivers Licence.
* Highly motivated and the ability to work independently.
* Strong focus on safety.
