Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Psychology

PositionDetails

· Continuing position |Full-time

· Academic Level C | $138,124- $158,885 pa

· Academic Level B |$113,211 - $133,974 pa

Flinders Universityis seeking an outstanding and passionate academic and practitioner to join ourteam as a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer in Psychology. The successful candidatewill provide leadership in teaching and learning across Psychology topics, witha particular focus on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Assessment(Educational or Developmental Psychology).

In this position, youwill also:

· Deliver inspiring teaching across alllevels and modes.

· Lead curriculum development andreview, creating courses that prepare students to work in diverse andinterprofessional contexts

· Apply innovative teaching practicesand technologies to enhance the learning experience.

This position is opento international candidates, with relocation and visa support available.

With expertise in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Educational or Developmental Psychology,you are passionate about enhancing curriculum and supporting students todevelop graduate-ready skills and knowledge to succeed in the field. You bringenergy, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset, and are committed toexcellence and innovation in teaching, supervision, and course coordination.

Candidates will be determinedto be suitable for Level B or Level C positions depending on their relevantexperience. In this position, you will also demonstrate:

· Completion of a PhDin Psychology, and/or a master's qualificationwith equivalent professionalexperience.

· Eligibility forregistration as a psychologist with the Australian Health PractitionerRegulation Agency (AHPRA).

· Experience in thepractice, teaching, and supervision of child and adolescent psychological assessment.

· Demonstrated capacityfor excellence and innovation in tertiary-level teaching and learning.
