Large, privately owned engineering business – leaders in innovative design, manufacture, supply and commissioning of high quality, special purpose machinery for a wide range of industries, including Rail, Defence, Engineering and Construction in Australia and overseas.
The role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented Planner & Scheduler working with the General Engineering Team. The employee plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of work through the manufacturing facility after receiving instruction from the Sales/Engineering Department.
This is a new position that will involve various tasks, such as Planning & Scheduling. As the senior Planner Scheduler you will create purchasing lists for jobs. You will work collaboratively with the Production Supervisor and direct shop floor staff from time to time. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be prepared to work on various jobs and problems.
Reporting to the Manager, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) converting information into manufacturing plans. This will involve Planning, Scheduling, Collaboration and Quality Assurance. This is a career position; we are looking for someone to join for the long term.

- Mechanical trade or engineering background.
- Proven experience in planning & scheduling within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
