Property Lease Administrator
We're looking for an experienced Property Lease Administrator to support a large, high-volume property portfolio with sites across Australia.
This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys lease admin - the detail, the pace, and the satisfaction of keeping complex portfolios clean, accurate, and moving.
You'll be working closely with property managers, negotiators, finance, and legal teams to make sure lease obligations are met, payments are correct, and issues are resolved properly (not kicked down the road).
Contract rate: $450-$550 per day
Location: Sydney (hybrid)
Portfolio size: Large and complex (thousands of leases)
Location: Remote or Hybrid - Anywhere in Australia (ideally Sydney based)
What you'll be doing
* Maintaining accurate lease data across internal systems (including SAP)
* Reviewing lease terms and obligations, especially rent, electricity, and outgoings
* Managing rental payments, including holds, reconciliations, and corrections
* Auditing lease data to ensure it matches legal documentation
* Handling landlord enquiries professionally and efficiently
* Managing changes to lessor details (bank accounts, legal entities, ABNs, GST, etc.)
* Supporting lease renewals, amendments, holdovers, and terminations
* Managing invoices, purchase orders, and reconciliations
* Keeping clear records and a live WIP so nothing falls through the cracks
* Escalating issues when needed - and knowing when not to
What we're looking for
You'll probably be a good fit if you:
* Have at least 5 years' experience in commercial lease administration on the lessee side
* Have worked with large, high-volume property portfolios
* Are comfortable interpreting complex lease clauses
* Have strong attention to detail without losing sight of deadlines
* Can manage a heavy workload without dropping standards
* Communicate clearly and confidently with landlords and internal teams
* Take ownership and follow issues through to resolution
Experience with SAP (RE / RE-FX), finance processes, or telecom/property portfolios is a plus, but not essential.
Why this role works
* Clear scope and real responsibility
* High-trust environment - you're expected to know your craft
* Exposure to a large, nationally distributed portfolio
* No micromanagement, but plenty of collaboration
