Support the National HSEQ and Systems Assurance Manager in the site implementation and continuous improvement of the Vossloh Sleeper Technologies Australia Integrated Management System.**HSE ADVISOR*** Lead a culture that promotes the safety of all workers, quality of product and protection of the environment at Vossloh Sleeper Technologies Australia manufacturing facility* Proactively identify trends in HSE incident and emerging issues and formulate a response to address any hazards and risks.* Assist and/or facilitate pre starts, inductions, risk assessments, and other activities that support in creating a safe working environment* Coach Supervisors and Factory Manager in understanding and applying all aspects of health and safety, environmental management systems* Promote, and drive responsible behaviours around Health and Safety and Environmental* Have a strong presence on the factory floor engaging with operators, supervisors and maintenance daily* Ensure the site maintains compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental Management Systems* Prepare reports, record data and collect evidence of the site’s compliance to these systems* Assist in maintaining the annual ISO external audits* Attend Safety, Environmental and Quality Leadership Team meetings, and represent the site at these meetings* Conduct audit and inspection activities on site* Audit Schedule control, maintain, drive completion.* Manage and maintain site Risk Register* Monitor and drive corrective actions to completion in a timely manner through engaging with supervisors, operators and maintenance* Identify health, safety and environmental non-conformances, conduct /coach site leadership teams in carrying out investigations and develop solutions for implementation.* Support and advise Factory Manager and factory staff to improve the control of risks* Secretary to the HSE Committee Meeting* Manage/support the Worker’s Compensation and injury management for the Factory* Flexibility to respond to emerging business requirements**TRAINING COORDINATOR*** Ensure personnel hold relevant HSE certificates of competency as identified in the factory Training Needs Analysis.* Design induction/coaching/training programs as required* Facilitate the Health & safety induction program* Facilitate OHS coaching and training programs**Your Profile*** Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a suitable health and safety role* Able to present information in a training environment.* Desirable: iCAM investigation training* Certificate IV Occupational Health and Safety or higher as a minimum.* Return to Work Co-ordinator Training, or a willingness to obtain* Other qualifications such as engineering, supervisory, auditing, training may be advantageous depending on industry and experience**Your Benefits*** Generous remuneration package* Work anniversary bonus - every 5 years get an extra weeks annual leave + $3000 to spend on a holiday!* Extra 2 days Life Leave for special occasions per year* Generous career development funds to support your career progression* Death and TPD insurance coverage* Salary sacrificing options (including novated leases)* Additional purchased leave options* 15 weeks paid parental leave + superannuation will be paid while on paid/ unpaid parental leave for 12 months* Access to Telus Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP) & employee recognition rewards programYour contact personBoorman, Grace
