Global Cardiology, a leading privately owned Cardiology practice in Western Australia is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Joondalup Clinic on a full time basis as we go through an exciting phase of expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
* Welcoming patients in person, over the phone, and through other communication channels with efficiency, friendliness, and courtesy.
* Managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic from opening to close of day.
* Answer and manage incoming phone calls.
* Collecting and accurately entering patient information and any other relevant data.
* Scheduling and organizing patient appointments, running the clinics and handling invoicing / receipting processes.
* Knowledge of the MBS schedule and the accurate billing procedures.
* Maintaining confidentiality of patient personal and financial information at all times.
* Liaising with healthcare professionals such as referring doctors, pharmacists, hospital and other practice staff courteously and helpfully.
Requirements:
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly demeanor.
* Professional presentation and demeanor.
* Experience using Health Track software is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently with initiative.
* Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Willingness to take direction to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
* Pride in work and productivity, especially when serving patients in need, with flexibility during times of high demand.
* Understanding of confidentiality requirements.
* Availability to cover sick and annual leave as needed.
