Key Job Responsibilities:
The Sous Chef plays a pivotal role in our kitchen's success. This position supports the Head Chef and Executive Chef in delivering exceptional food experiences for our guests.
This role oversees supervising kitchen staff and service, fostering a positive team environment where staff feel supported and have opportunities to develop and learn.
Key responsibilities include working with the Head Chef and Executive Chef to lead the kitchen team, ensuring highest food standards are maintained, and supervising kitchen operations and teams.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Lead kitchen teams with proven people and team management
* Provide recommendations and recipes for menu design and development that align with our food ethos
* Understand and respect Work Health & Safety procedures, championing WHS procedures in all areas of work
* Ensure food quality and safe food handling and storage procedures are followed and adhered to
* Organise and manage general administration including stock control, ordering, supplier liaison and stakeholder consultation
