Project Manager a required to:
o Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, cross-agency collaborations and service providers.
o Research, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate project or program initiatives.
o Negotiate and engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination and collaboration for timely and successful outcomes.
o Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges.
o Provide management, coordination, governance and assurance of complex projects.
o Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver agreed outcomes.
o Represent the team and branch in project governance meetings and provide clear up to date reports on status and the implications of risks on projects to ensure the success of projects.
o Oversee project resources to ensure a high performing, motivated and well-developed team that delivers results.
o Use project management tools to drive successful outcomes, covering areas such as risk management, quality management, financial management, procurement, strategy, resource management, project briefs and post-implementation reviews.
You should have the following work experience and skills:
o Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams to deliver critical and complex programs of work, particularly in ICT.
o Strong ability to translate business requirements into prioritised application development tasks.
o Experience in ensuring best development industry practices are implemented.
o Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement skills.
o Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand the audience, adapt to the context, and tailor communication effectively.
o Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional project teams to successfully deliver critical and complex ICT programs.
o Excellent communication and negotiation skills to facilitate effective stakeholder coordination, collaboration and engagement.
o Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, cross-agency collaborations and service providers.
o Experience with/ and application of project management frameworks and methodologies such as Agile and Hybrid Agile.
o Ability to represent the team and branch in project governance meetings, providing clear, up-to-date reports on projects status and risk implications to ensure successful project delivery.
