THE OPPORTUNITY
We have partnered with a major mining contractor to support them with the production operations across their Queensland Coal Mining contracts. The miner has a well‑known industry brand with a strong focus on employee wellbeing, development, safety, and production outcomes across their operations.
This role is for the Excavator Operator looking to establish a long‑term career with an established mining contractor on a site with an extensive life of mine. Direct Permanent Hire.
Roster: 7/7 BIBO (Bus in Bus Out)
Location: Central Queensland, BIBO from Townsville and Mackay ONLY

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITY
Previous production experience operating the following Dump Trucks or similar size
Trucks on Site: CAT789, CAT793, CAT794, Hitachi EH5000
Loaders on Site: CAT992, WA600 and WA900
* Valid Australian Drivers Licence
* Previous experience in busy open pit mining operations
* VOC or RII Training Competency Desirable - TRAINING TRANSCRIPT MANDATORY
* National Police Clearance
* Coal Board Medical
* Standard 11
* Able to Pass Onboarding Process Including Medical and Reference Checks
