Job Title: Senior Roadworks Traffic Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Roadworks Traffic Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing traffic management and associated services in accordance with our Contract Management Framework.
You will review Traffic Management Plans submitted to us to ensure they meet relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice. Additionally, you will provide professional traffic management advice and support to teams across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and approve Traffic Management Plans
* Provide traffic management advice and support
* Manage traffic management and associated services
Requirements:
* Diploma in Civil Engineering
* Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM)
* Roadworks Traffic Manager (RTM) accreditation
* Current unrestricted C class national driver's licence
* Construction White Card
* Minimum of eight (8) years direct practical experience in reviewing, approving or designing Traffic Management Plans
* Experience as a Senior Road Safety Auditor, team member or auditor
* Knowledge of temporary road safety barrier design and traffic flow theory and analysis
* Minimum of eight (8) years conducting Road Safety Audits (desirable)
* Experience with traffic signal operation, multiple work stages and management of cyclists and pedestrians (desirable)
