Permanent, Full time and Part-Time positions available

- Salary Classification: Registered Nurse Year 1-8.
- Remuneration: $36.38 - $51.08 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDOs

About you

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. There are multiple opportunities available to become the newest member of our team. Learn new skills, enjoy fantastic educational opportunities. Positions available include, full time, part time and temporary contracts.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive and accurate nursing assessment of patients
- Function in accordance with legislation and policy relevant to practice
- Complete accurate documentation of nursing care and patients progress in patients’ medical records and communicate to other team members
- Function in accordance with legislation and policy relevant to practice
- Act in accordance with profession’s code of ethics and professional standards

Qualifications

- Registered Nurse authorised to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in acute care and has a special interest in oncology nursing
- Ability to recognise the deteriorating patient
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organized manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills with a customer focus
- Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development
