Scheduling Supervisor – Campaspe Shire
Full Time | 40 hours per week
BusBiz is seeking a motivated and organised Scheduling Supervisor to join our operations team in the Campaspe Shire region.
This is a pivotal role within our business, responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of school bus and charter services across multiple locations.
While this position holds a great deal of responsibility and involves many different components, at its core it is a role focused on:
* Scheduling and rostering
* Quoting and route planning
* Customer and staff communication
* Data Entry of payroll and invoicing

About the Role
The Scheduling Supervisor will oversee the rostering and daily movement of approximately 20 services per week, ensuring all school bus and charter shifts are covered by appropriately trained staff, while managing fatigue compliance and maintenance requirements.
You will also play an important part in:
* Payroll data collection and entry
* Staff training, mentoring, and onboarding
* Liaising with schools, contract managers, and bus coordinators
* Supporting operational needs across the wider Victorian team during leave periods
This role includes supervision of a team of 20+ staff members and requires reasonable availability outside of standard office hours for urgent operational matters.

Key Responsibilities
* Monitor rosters and arrange replacement drivers when required
* Communicate daily with drivers regarding bookings and commitments
* Provide quotes for external bus and coach movements
* Build strong relationships with schools, coordinators, and stakeholders
* Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure fleet availability
* Support WHS compliance across managed depots
* Conduct staff inductions and attend disciplinary meetings alongside HR

About You
We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds. Experience in scheduling, operations, transport or logistics will be highly regarded, however full training will be provided.

Requirements
* Current heavy vehicle driver's licence (MR preferred or willingness to obtain)
* Willingness to obtain relevant driver accreditations
* Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check prior to commencement
Please note: a WWCC includes a comprehensive police check
* Reasonable availability for urgent after-hours operational calls
* Willingness to travel to outlying depots as required
* The successful applicant must live in the Echuca region as this position is on-site
