Why is this role important?

Reporting to a Store Setup Manager, you will be part of a special team of colleagues who travel to stores all across the province, to merchandise and assist teams during renovations and new store openings.

What You'll Do:

- Travel to assigned retail locations and different locations within Manitoba on a weekly basis to work alongside construction teams to remodel our stores.
- Responsibilities include eliminating out-of-stock and out-of-date product from the shelves, cleaning and/or adjusting the shelves, and restocking the shelves.
- Efficiently and accurately assemble, set up, and maintain store fixtures, displays, and shelves by following Plan-O-Grams (a guide with pictures and information).
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify shipment accuracy.
- Ensure merchandise of all departments is presentable for customers, including accessible aisles at all times.
- Assist in other tasks as needed (manual labor, cleaning, general maintenance, stockroom & sales floor maintenance).

What You'll Need:

- Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle for transportation to different stores.
- Flexibility to work any shift, predominantly overnight shifts.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for prolonged periods.
- Extensive travel required with excellent compensation rates.
- Retail store experience and a solid understanding of overall store operations are assets.
- Previous experience working as a Merchandiser/Stocker is an asset.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Computer and software literacy, with the ability to learn new software.
