Opal ANZ is an industry-leading paper and packaging business with manufacturing sites across Australia and New Zealand. We have an exciting opportunity for an Export Services Specialist to join the team at our site in Burnley (VIC) on an ongoing full-time basis.
The key focus of this role will be to:
- Coordinate export shipments, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Monitor production and adjust shipments in line with the production schedule
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export laws
- Enter and process export orders accurately in SAP system, ensuring all details are correct for timely fulfillment
- Prepare and submit all necessary export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
- Manage relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, banks and government agencies
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize export processes and improve efficiency

For this role we would ideally like you to have:
- Strong knowledge of export regulations and documentation requirements. Ideally, 2 years of experience in export documentation
- Experience in export Letter of Credit’s would be highly regarded
- SAP or similar systems experience would be highly regarded
- Experience in using Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
