Customer Service Officer – Port Melbourne (Full-Time)

About the Role

As the Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering a high level of service while managing orders, enquiries and customer communications.

You'll work closely with internal teams including Sales, Warehouse, Purchasing and Technical Services to ensure a seamless customer experience from order through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
* Process customer orders, returns and credits accurately and efficiently
* Provide updates on order status, ETAs and backorders
* Build strong relationships with customers, dealers and internal stakeholders
* Handle customer issues and escalations where required
* Maintain accurate records using Salesforce and ERP systems
* Support sales teams with customer updates, leads and product information

About You

* Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment
* Strong communication skills with a customer‐first approach
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems (highly regarded)
* Confident working across multiple systems and departments
* A proactive, team‐oriented mindset
