THE OPPORTUNITY
The Facility Manager (FM) position is a leadership roleresponsible for Viva Leisure's ANU facility and the associateddepartments and services. The Facility Manager is responsible foroverall facility management in collaboration with a knowledgeableleadership team. This includes, but is not limited to, thefacilities, day-to-day operations, and delivery of safe,high-quality customer experiences, optimising usage and maximisingfinancial returns for Club Lime ANU, Club Lime Aquatics, Club LimeSwim School, and Supp Society retail.
The Facility Manager is responsible for planning and managingthe effective and efficient operations of the facility, includingthe delivery of high-level events, programs, services and thecompliance required for the space across the ANU facility for VivaLeisure.
This role works closely with our CISAC location and all supportfunctions available through our Head Office team including CentralServices, Fitness and People & Culture to ensure a unified approachto learning, development, operations and maintenance of thefacilities and its departments.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Our ideal candidate will bring:
* Certificate III or IV in Fitness (desirable where managinga fitness club/gym)
* Pool Operations Certificate (essential where managing anaquatic facility)
* Lifeguard Certificate and Licence (essential where managingan aquatic facility)
* WVP/ WWCC check issued in State of work location
* Current First Aid andCPR Certificate
* Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performingteams
* Demonstrated leadership through role-modelling companyvalues, behaviours, and policies
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with theability to manage multiple sites and shifting priorities
* High attention to detail and capability in handlingadministrative responsibilities
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engageand collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
* Operational leadership experience with a track record ofdriving performance and excellence
* Passion for fitness, well-being, and delivering a positiveimpact
* Willingness to learn and understand the full scope ofday-to-day operations across departments
* Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with theability to adapt and learn quickly
* Ability to implement effective structures, strategies, andtraining to improve team performance and member sales

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead and manage all aspects of facility operations in alignment with Viva's mission and vision
* Ensure clubs operate at a high standard, maintaining compliance with all relevant policies, safety procedures, and professional behaviour expectations
* Develop and deliver training, tools, and support to enhance operational excellence across departments
* Manage and support staff across multipledepartments—including recruitment, rostering, performance, andtalent development
* Review and optimise timetables to meet member and communityneeds
* Drive membership growth and ensure accurate maintenance ofmember records
* Analyse data to inform decision-making and educate othermanagers
* Foster a collaborative, team-based culture and contributeto company-wide goals
