Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Industry and Vocational Training Officer. This position plays a vital role in managing and promoting School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships for students in Years 10-12.
The successful candidate will work closely with industry and business partners to create career pathways and vocational opportunities for students facing barriers to mainstream education. They will provide a supportive, flexible learning environment focused on student wellbeing, vocational development, and successful transitions to further education, training, or employment.
This role is a temporary full-time position, offered for a period of 12 months, unless otherwise determined.
About the Role
This position involves leading the coordination and delivery of school-based apprenticeships and traineeships, working closely with industry partners, training providers, and community organisations to create meaningful career pathways for students who face challenges in mainstream education. The successful candidate will promote vocational education and training opportunities, develop and maintain strong employer relationships, coordinate student placements, and support work readiness programs. In addition, they will play an active role in the classroom to enhance student engagement and ensure they are well-prepared for successful transitions beyond school.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and promote School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships for students in Years 10-12.
