Join Eldercare as a Physiotherapist. Eldercare is a not-for-profit aged care provider delivering care to older South Australians. We foster a compassionate and inclusive work environment where every team member is valued. Location: Cottage Grove (Woodcroft) – 0.2 FTE (Day Flexible); Acacia Court (Hendon) – 0.4 FTE (Wed+Thu). Type: Part-time.
Responsibilities
* Work in a large, multidisciplinary environment alongside Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Dietitians, Social Workers and Dementia Specialists.
* Provide supervision and direction to Mobility Assistants to promote mobility and exercise for residents in pursuit of individual goals.
* Utilise a full range of clinical assessment and treatment skills to support residents to achieve their potential.
* Contribute to our reablement and exercise programs, including intensive 1:1 reablement and group-based exercise.
* Support continuous improvement by adopting evidence-based and emerging practices within Eldercare's service model.
* Access professional support from regional Allied Health Team Leaders and participate in bi-monthly meetings to develop and implement new practices.
