Position: Full‐time Education Teacher – Technology Mandatory & Food Technology (TAS).
Location: Penrith, NSW (Sydney Region)
Remuneration: Value up to $156,253.00 – base salary $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and superannuation contributions.
Closing date: 03-Jun-2026 (6:00 AM NSW)
Responsibilities
* Teach Technology Mandatory and Food Technology lessons to students in Years 7–10, delivering curriculum‐aligned content.
* Develop lesson plans, assessment tasks and student learning resources.
* Support students' practical work, ensuring safety and engagement.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the TAS faculty and across school programs.
* Provide skilled development and mentorship to students.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full approval to teach Technology Mandatory and Food Technology from the NSW Department of Education or willingness to obtain it.
* Demonstrated capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies.
* Ability to deliver differentiated teaching programs that support student growth and maintain high expectations.
* Experience or capability to manage practical workspaces safely.
* Well‐developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills for collaboration within the TAS faculty and whole‐school programs.
* Up to 2 years of supported teaching experience or a Teach and Learn Scholarship (TAS) for further university‐level study.
* Conditions: An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
* If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education you must commence the application process concurrently with this application.
