General Practitioner on permanent part‑time basis for an Aboriginal Medical Service in Parmelia. The service is committed to holistic, culturally safe primary health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Responsibilities
Deliver high‑quality clinical care in clinic and community settings, aligned with best practice standards. Contribute to the maintenance of high‑quality health services as part of a multidisciplinary team. Support and mentor other health staff and trainees, including Aboriginal health workers and medical students. Requirements
Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent. Current AHPRA registration as a general practitioner. Commitment to culturally safe care and the philosophy of Aboriginal community control. Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills. Current National Police Clearance, Class "C" driver’s licence, Working with Children Check. Fully Covid‑19 vaccinated. Desirable: knowledge of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services and the issues facing these organisations. Benefits
