About Explore Careers
Explore Careers is Australia's top early-careers platform, here to help young Australians take that leap from school to work. We get that the first step can feel huge, so we've built a space packed with tools, resources, and connections to make sure students feel supported and ready for whatever comes next.
We're proud to team up with over 150 of Australia's top employers—including Deloitte, Coles, Jetstar, and CommBank—to bring the country's best opportunities straight to our community.
But we're more than just an online platform. We're out in secondary schools across Australia, sharing real career advice and bringing the "real world" to life with office tours and hands-on events. Our goal is to bridge the gap between classroom and career, so the next generation feels prepared, inspired, and excited to get started.
About The Role
We're the link between Australia's biggest employers and every secondary school in the country. To make those connections count, our school network needs to be up to date, engaged, and running smoothly. That's where you come in.
As our Network & Engagement Coordinator, you'll own our national school database and keep events on track. You'll be the data guardian—making sure school records are spot-on in HubSpot, running the backend of our national event calendar, and making every school-facing event run like clockwork.
If Jetstar wants to visit 20 schools or host a hands-on hangar tour, you'll be the planner behind the scenes—finding the right schools, managing registrations, and sorting out the logistics. If details need updating or you spot a gap in our database, you'll jump in and fix it—keeping everything clean, accurate, and running smoothly. If something needs structure, you'll build it from the ground up.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who loves systems, thrives on organisation, and gets satisfaction from making things run smoothly.

Our Team & Culture
We're a small, energetic startup—there's nothing bland or corporate about us. Building Explore Careers from the ground up means you'll leave a big mark here. We love people who don't wait for instructions, but dive in, spot opportunities, and make things happen.
In a tight-knit team like ours, every day's a little different. We're always learning, testing new ideas, and figuring out better ways to work. If you love variety and want to help shape what comes next, you'll feel right at home. We thrive on that entrepreneurial energy—so if you're driven, enthusiastic, and ready to grow with us, you're our kind of person.
Being small means we can move fast and stay flexible, and we want our team to actually love what they do here. There's no micro-managing—just freedom and trust to own your role and do your best work. If you're after a place where your ideas matter and your effort never goes unnoticed, you've found it.
Why us?
As a small startup, we offer the kind of flexibility and role ownership you won't find in bigger organisations. We treat you like an adult—there's no clock-watching here. You're trusted to manage your own time, so if you need to duck out for an appointment, head home early, or take a mental health day, that's totally fine. As long as the work is done well, we're happy for you to work in a way that suits you best.
In a small team like ours, there's no hand-holding or babysitting. You'll get a proper onboarding and all the support you need, but we're after someone enthusiastic, proactive, and driven—ready to jump in and make this role their own. Got ideas for how to do things better, or something you'd like to introduce? Amazing That's exactly what we're looking for.
On the days we're in the office (usually 1–2 times a week), you'll find us in a fantastic spot in the heart of South Melbourne. The office is buzzing with life and perks—think basketball courts, beer on tap, and a 24/7 gym (check out Central House in South Melbourne for a taste of the vibe).
