Allied Health Assistant (Lvl 2-3) - Physiotherapy - Permanent Full Time

Location: Liverpool Hospital

Position Classification: Allied Health Assistant Level 2-3

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, 38 hours per week

Remuneration: Allied Health Assistant Level 2: $62,119.11 - $63,983.45 per annum; Allied Health Assistant Level 3: $65,865.01 - $68,682.13 per annum

What You'll Be Doing

To provide a high quality clinical service to clients and their families/carers under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional to optimise health outcomes for the clients of the service. The Allied Health Assistant is also responsible for undertaking designated departmental and administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery.

Work across different clinical areas and be well supported by other Allied Health Assistants and Physiotherapists.


Qualifications and Skills

* Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or relevant qualification or minimum 12 months full-time equivalent relevant experience with commitment to undertake the Certificate IV in AHA within 12 months
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities within scope of practice; able to seek assistance when required
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Good organisational skills; able to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles
* Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, including email management and database use

Liverpool Hospital, a major health service for south-western Sydney with a range of services and ongoing redevelopment under the LHAP project.
