As Legal Counsel, you'll partner closely with the senior leadership team to shape legal strategy and provide commercially focused advice across the full development lifecycle.
You'll play a key role in standardising legal processes, refining templates, managing external advisors, and ensuring projects progress efficiently and compliantly - without the pressure of billable hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide practical legal and commercial advice across all areas of the business and project lifecycle.
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including construction, JV, development, finance, and consultancy agreements.
* Oversee due diligence for acquisitions and disposals.
* Manage external legal counsel to achieve cost-effective, outcomes-focused support.
* Advise on compliance, risk, and governance matters.
* Provide general employment law guidance and support HR with workplace compliance.
* Develop internal templates, clauses, and policies to improve efficiency.
* Train and guide internal stakeholders on contracts and legal processes.
Skills and Experience
* 6+ years PQE in property, construction, or commercial law.
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Commercially minded with an ability to balance legal and business objectives.
* Comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
