About us
The Clinical Facilitator is an advanced practice nurse who delivers a variety of clinical education activities designed to meet the identified learning and development needs of nurses. The Clinical Facilitator works primarily in the clinical area, providing direct support and supervision to nurses to promote and facilitate clinical care outcomes. This role is based in the Sub‐Acute Geriatric Evaluation (SAGE) – Frailty Unit within the Hospital.
About the role
* Provide direct clinical support and supervision to nurses, promoting and facilitating clinical care outcomes.
* Coordinate and deliver evidence‐based care in collaboration with consumers, carers, external agencies and other health professionals across the care continuum.
* Deliver a range of clinical education activities to meet identified learning and development needs of nurses.
* Work within the Sub‐Acute Geriatric Evaluation (SAGE) – Frailty Unit.
About you
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and an annual practising certificate.
* Demonstrated advanced level knowledge, skills, and leadership in contemporary practice in geriatric nursing care and rehabilitation.
* Preferred qualifications/training:
o Post‐graduate qualification in Geriatric or Rehabilitation Nursing
o Post‐graduate qualification in Nursing, Midwifery or Education
o Preceptor Training
o Certificate IV in Assessment and Training
o Basic Life Support Train‐The‐Trainer certification
What we offer
Remuneration is a total value of up to $117,264 p.a. and is comprised of:
* Hourly rate between $57.48 – $61.55 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
