About the Opportunity

We're looking for a dedicated and sales‐driven Corporate Sales Coordinator to champion the experience of Victoria Racing Club's most prestigious members.

In this high‐impact role, you'll support the sales team by managing administrative tasks, processing bookings, coordinating client requests and ensuring smooth execution of sales processes.

You'll work closely with internal teams and key stakeholders to ensure experiences are seamless, memorable and meticulously delivered—both on and off the track. If you thrive in a fast‐paced environment, growing sales, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of VRC's corporate sales.

What you'll be responsible for

* Inbound Sales & Enquiry Management: Manage inbound enquiries across phone, email and digital channels, responding promptly and professionally to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
* Outbound Sales Activity & Lead Follow-Up: Proactively follow up warm leads, past clients and lapsed enquiries to drive new and repeat bookings, particularly in peak on‐sale and Carnival periods.
* Booking Processing & Sales Administration: Process bookings end‐to‐end, including contracts, invoicing, payment follow ups and system updates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organisational processes.
* Client Communication & Sales Support: Act as the first point of contact for prospective clients, providing clear product information, pricing and availability while supporting the wider sales team with lead distribution and pipeline activity.
* Operational Governance, Systems & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely client records in accordance with organisational requirements. Uphold adherence to contractual processes, procedures, and VRC Terms & Conditions to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. Assist in budget implementation, monitor expenditure within delegated limits, and support financial reporting and invoicing activities.

What your background includes

* Confident and persuasive communicator who can build rapport quickly, handle objections and convert enquiries into bookings via phone and email.
* Highly organised with strong administrative discipline, able to manage high enquiry volumes and multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
* Strong understanding of corporate hospitality products and pricing, with the ability to match client needs to the most suitable offering.
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, high volume sales environment, particularly during peak on sale and event delivery periods.
* Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment that values open communication, creative collaboration, and mutual support.
* Manage workload effectively, with guidance from leaders, to maintain a healthy balance between high‐quality creative output and personal wellbeing.
* Support an inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives are valued, and feedback is encouraged, constructive, and solution focused.

About You

You're a confident driver of sales. You enjoy managing a sales pipeline with corporates, converting opportunities and nurturing long‐term relationships. Highly organised and proactive, you thrive in fast‐paced event environments and handle multiple priorities with ease.

Your communication is professional and warm, and you work collaboratively across teams to deliver seamless experiences. You bring a positive, inclusive mindset and take pride in representing members with care, empathy and attention to detail.
