**Job Title:** Child Development Specialist
The role of a Child Development Specialist is to support the growth and development of children through various programs and activities. As a specialist, you will be responsible for creating an environment that fosters learning and exploration, and provides opportunities for children to develop their skills and abilities.
Key responsibilities include delivering play-based programs, working closely with parents and caregivers to provide information and referrals, planning and facilitating sessions that cater to the interests of participating children, and empowering parents to support their child's development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma in Children's Services, Early Childhood or Community Services (or significant equivalent experience)
* Proven understanding of child development stages and influences
* Experience in group processes and facilitation, especially with families experiencing vulnerability
