**Technical Compliance Officer**

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual. You will be mechanically minded with a minimum 2 years' industry experience as an effective Technical Writer or Compliance Officer.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Develop technical information such as product manuals, how to guides, journal articles and technical service bulletins.
- Write technical direction on product announcements, marketing brochures, advertisements, and specifications.
- Work with technical staff to optimise product use.
- Communicate complex technical information to both internal and external customers.
- Work closely with Engineering, Marketing and Sales to improve end-user experience.
- Ensure domestic and international compliance with government regulations.
- General modelling and drafting on AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Inspects designs and finished products for compliance with job specifications
- Perform basic administrative duties such as updating data and BOM's in ERP system
- Write Scope of Works documents
**To be successful you will have**:
- Advanced Diploma or bachelor's degree in technical or engineering field would be highly regarded.
- Minimum 2-4 industry experience as a technical writer or compliance officer
- Ability to understand and communicate completion information.
- Substantial level of interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience with international government regulations such as CE, UKCA and EAC
- Good understanding and ability to use 3D modelling software including Autodesk Inventor
Although not essential, a background in the manufacturing industry would be highly regarded.
