Permanent role / Upper North Shore location (Close to train)
- Salary $95,000 - $100,000 + Superannuation
- Flexible work - Hybrid available
**About the Opportunity**
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
Process all functions related to Accounts Payable including;
- Accurate and timely data entry of invoices, preparing payment runs in terms with company details.
- Build and maintain relationship with long term suppliers.
- Lead AP function from a month end perspective
- Supplier invoice reconciliation against statements
- Maintaining and improving accounts payable process (Enforcing policies and procedures to educate wider business)
- Assist with month end accounting procedures and reporting
- Mentor and manage the team on a day to day, provide coaching and advice to motivate staff.
- Collation of pay runs adhering to terms of payment
**The successful applicant should have**:
- Experience in a commercial environment in a supervisory/team leader/manager role
- Intermediate experience with IT and systems including financial programs, word, excel and outlook.
- Excellent problem solving skills; able to logically work through an issue to find root cause of a problem.
- Experience in delivering impeccable customer/stakeholder service.
- Strong people management skills; able to lead a team
- Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal + Written)
