Our ideal applicant will be responsible for the successful delivery of multi residential projects from inception to completion, focussing on managing project scope, project schedules, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Key aspects of the role include:
* Develop, implement and manage project plans for projects, ensuring alignment with approved scope, schedule and budget.
* Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risk to maintain delivery targets
* Act as primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
* Prepare and present project reports, updates and financial summaries
* Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls and variations
* Review and manage project documentation, including scope, specifications, schedules, contracts and procurement documentation.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, including WHS.
* Oversee procurement and contractor performance
* Support the defect manager and project close-out
Our ideal applicant will have at least 5 years relevant experience in managing multi residential projects (20 storeys minimum) from concept to completion, ideally from a Tier 1 or 2 builder. You will manage a team of approx 15 staff plus contractors and subcontractors. You should be able to effectively manage project teams, consultants and contractors.
Strong project management capabilities, including scheduling, budgeting, cost control, risk management and reporting is required. Your ability to work in a fast paced environment, managing competing priorities, will stand you in good stead.
Other requirements include:
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and compliance requirements in QLD
* Qualifications in construction, property, project management or related field
* Current QLD white card
* Strong problem solving and decision making
