About the Role
We are supporting a leading global wind technology provider in the search for a Project Proposal Manager to strengthen its technical proposal capability across onshore wind projects.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, logistics, and project delivery, providing critical technical input into commercial bids. You will support pre-sales and tender activities by shaping installation methodologies, logistics strategies, and crane solutions to ensure bids are technically robust, cost-competitive, and deliverable.
Core Responsibilities - Proposal Coordination
Technical Proposal Support
Provide detailed installation, cranage, and logistics technical content to support commercial proposals and tender submissions.
Contribute execution strategies covering transportation, route engineering, crane selection, erection methodology, and site logistics.
Customer Technical Interface
Support the sales team during pre-bid and negotiation phases, participating in technical discussions with customers around installation feasibility, crane requirements, and construction methodology.
Internal Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the technical liaison between regional sales, commercial teams, product engineering, site delivery teams, and global headquarters to ensure alignment of technical and commercial objectives.
Risk & Opportunity Assessment
Identify and assess technical risks and opportunities associated with installation scope.
Provide structured input into bid risk registers and go/no-go decision processes.
About You
7-15 years' experience in wind turbine installation, logistics, or pre-sales solution development.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong experience across wind projects including component transport, site logistics, cranage operations, and erection methodologies.
Proven experience supporting or managing local wind projects.
Solid understanding of lifting engineering, including capacity charts, load radius calculations, and rigging concepts.
Knowledge of oversized transport regulations, route surveys, and permitting processes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into commercial value.
