About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to manufacture scientific testing equipment using light gauge stainless steel, aluminium, and sheet metal materials.
Reporting directly to the Factory Foreman and Supervisor some of your responsibilities will include:
* Operating manufacturing equipment using sheet metal drawings
* Performing TIG and MIG welding on stainless and mild steel
* Supporting production processes alongside experienced supervisors
* Maintaining quality standards across fabrication and assembly work
* Ensuring workshop safety and cleanliness at all times
* Using guillotines, folders, punches, and hand tools
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience working with light gauge sheet metal materials
* Ability to interpret drawings and manufacturing instructions
* Strong teamwork skills and willingness to follow direction
* Reliable and physically fit approach to workshop duties
