External Ventricular Drain (EVD) management
Lumbar drain care
Tracheostomy management

The Clinical Nurse Educator will:
Deliver high-quality education and support to nursing staff
Foster a collaborative approach to nursing care and learning
Adapt to the dynamic demands of a surgical unit
Promote patient safety and continuous improvement using improvement science
Apply relevant policies, practices, and guidelines to support effective teaching

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
