About the Role
The Spa Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in creating a welcoming sanctuary for guests, ensuring Spa Therapists deliver world‑class treatments with professionalism and warmth. This position combines a passion for health and wellness with strategic business acumen to drive revenue growth across the Day Spa and Hair Salon. The Spa Manager embodies the company's vision of creating extraordinary experiences and its values of empowerment, possibilities, and community.
Key Responsibilities
* Refine the guest journey and ensure procedures and standards are consistently delivered.
* Maintain a tranquil spa atmosphere that reflects the brand's promise.
* Recruit, train, and develop Spa Therapists to deliver exceptional services.
* Foster a culture of empowerment, innovation, and community.
* Create and execute strategic plans to achieve financial targets across treatments, product sales, and hair appointments.
* Implement yield management strategies aligned with business peaks and troughs.
* Monitor competitors and identify opportunities to enhance the spa offering.
* Ensure treatments and products remain on‑trend and aligned with global wellness and beauty movements.
* Collaborate effectively within the hotel environment.
* Support with reception duties and ad‑hoc tasks when required.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in the beauty and wellness industry, with operational and supervisory responsibilities.
* Hair or beauty qualifications (desirable but not essential).
* Strong communication skills to liaise professionally with guests, staff and stakeholders.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Current First Aid Certificate (advantageous).
* Passion for health, wellness and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
