**About the Opportunity**

The opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and customer focused Front Office Manager, to effectively lead and manage the front office operations within our 333 premium rooms and suite resort. Royal Pines is one of Australia's leading conference and events resorts, catering for large scale events, groups and leisure travellers. We have 8 restaurants and bars, an executive lounge, a luxurious day spa, gym and a 27-hole championship golf course.

As the Front Office Manager, you will lead by example and be hands on in the business overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the front office activities and strategic planning run seamlessly to deliver a consistently high standard of service to our members and guests. Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, managing and directing a high performing team of duty managers, front office reception, concierge, reservations, night auditors & leisure attendants- Managing team rosters, recruitment, coaching, counselling, training and development- Maintaining a high standard of service, monitoring guest reviews and responding to feedback- Leading front office activities - arrival & departures, room allocations, sales, reservations, resort promotions, activations, stay up to date with industry trends and identify business opportunities- Managing department expenditure, budgets & reporting- Maintain continuous improvement, best practice service standards, operating procedures and policies- Facilitate and attend meetings, collaborating with other departments- Identifying, lead and contribute towards WHS & safe work practices- Lead by example and practice the RACV values - Innovation, Accountability, Care & Team

**What you'll need to be successful**- Full availability and flexibility to work a rotating roster, incl. evenings, weekends & public holidays- Previous front office management experience in a large 4-5 star hotel/resort environment, essential- Bachelor level or equivalent qualification in tourism, hospitality or management, desirable- Cert 4 in Frontline Management or Training and Assessment and First Aid Certificate, desirable-
- Obtain a valid Working with Children Check Qld Blue Card, essential- Understanding of hotel/resort operations, systems and procedures- Effective leadership skills promoting morale and encouraging teamwork- Experience in staff management practices, recruitment, reward, appraisal, counselling and staff development- Strong communication, negotiation, problem solving and operational management skills- Manage NPS, guest feedback and resolve difficult situations- Financial knowledge in budgets, accounting procedures, planning, forecasting & controlling- Build effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders- Excellent personal presentation
