This initiative is focused on modernising legacy SAP ECC systems and migrating toSAP S/4HANA in a secure cloud environment. The program aims to enhance Finance and HR capabilities, streamline business processes, and improve reporting and analytics through automation and reduced customisation. Your new role As the SAP Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of a large-scale migration from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA, with a particular focus on Payroll (H4S4) and core ERP functionality. You’ll work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and senior stakeholders to ensure the project meets its objectives within defined time, cost, and quality parameters. This role requires strong leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to navigate complex delivery environments. Responsibilities include: Drive end-to-end delivery of SAP migration and transformation initiatives Lead planning, execution, and reporting across all phases of the project lifecycle Manage stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, and team mobilisation Oversee documentation, governance, and compliance with government standards Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and maintain delivery momentum Ensure alignment with organisational change management and benefits realisation Provide accurate and timely reporting on project status, financials, and resource needs What you'll need to succeed Proven experience managing SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects in large-scale environments Strong understanding of SAP ECC Payroll and H4S4 (S/4HANA Payroll) Demonstrated ability to manage technical migration and customisation remediation Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills Experience using SAP Activate and contemporary project management methodologies Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office tools Desirable : SAP certifications relevant to ECC and S/4HANA migration Experience in organisational change management and benefits realisation What you'll get in return Join a large scale SAP transformation program with strategic visibility.
