We are looking for an outstanding medical device sales professional to join our established **Endovascular business** in the **Vascular division** This **Sales & Clinical Specialist **role is **Melbourne** based.
Reporting to the _Regional Sales manager_, this role sits with a supportive team and would suit someone who loves taking the ownership of their territory; _Central Sydney and Nepean with some regional travel to Canberra_.
You would be responsible to manage the assigned territory assuring consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets by identifying opportunities and gaining new business and market share while maintaining existing business.
**Main responsibilities are, and not limited to**:
- Meeting customer education and in-service requirements
- Developing new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory
- Conducting education and case support within Cardiac, Vascular & Radiology Catheterisation Labs & associated wards and personnel
- Some regional travel is required
**What you will bring to this role**:
- Prior experience selling in medical devices is well regarded; however, a hunger and drive to enter sales from a clinical background will be considered
- Degree level preferred in a science discipline or equivalent
- Proven track record in delivering sales targets in a complex, solution selling environment
- Good understanding of the industry process and function; able to convincingly discuss this with customers, as well as internal and external experts
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills; be customer focused and empathetic
- Concisely and clearly communicate with the ability to articulate technical/clinical information
