Gowrie WA is a not-for-profit, for-purpose organisation with over 85 years of positive impact in early childhood education and care. We're all about people; children, families, and our awesome team of educators. We are looking for a qualified and passionate Education and Care Lead (Centre Manager) to inspire, support and guide their team, while creating safe, nurturing environments where children, families and educators thrive. As Education and Care Lead, you will be responsible for providing management and centre coordination, and this will involve exceptional leadership, direction, support, assistance, mentoring, as well as centre promotion and fostering connections with the community. The Education and Care Lead will exemplify best practice and pedagogy, accountability and compliance.
Responsibilities
* Lead with heart, and mentor, guide and empower their team.
* Bring the EYLF and NQS to life every day.
* Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, community and educators.
* Keep things running smoothly with a compliance, safety, and pedagogical focus.
* Grow the centre and build a brilliant team; support centre promotion and foster connections with the community.
Qualifications
* A minimum qualification of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
* At least two years' experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care leadership role.
* A current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
* First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain).
* A warm, professional and collaborative approach and a desire to work with people who care as much as you do.
* Someone who understands, practices and role models responsibility and accountability.
