About the Role You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
Together with the cardiothoracic case managers, registrars and surgeons, this position facilitates the effective management of bookings for elective surgery patients through the coordination and provision of administrative and clerical functions. This includes data entry; management of surgical calendar, general and medical correspondence; liaising with internal and external stakeholders; patient bookings and other duties as directed by the Head of Department, Senior Cardiothoracic Department staff and the Executive Assistant/Clinical Manager of Cardiovascular Service.

Ideal Candidate
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate confidently and courteously with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Experience in providing administration support with accurate data entry and word processing skills.
* High-level organisational skills with the ability to work both independently and as a team member, ensuring that work is prioritised to meet deadlines.
